Prefix Data, LLC. d/b/a Accountstory (“Accountstory” “we”, “us” or “our”) is a provider of B2B
sales intelligence data for sales teams. We understand that privacy is important for all of our
website visitors and our users, and that it’s important for you to understand how we collect and
maintain information.

What does this privacy policy apply to?
This privacy policy applies to all Accountstory.com webpages or applications on which this
privacy policy appears including the browser extension “Accountstory for Chrome”. By using our
website and subpages (referred to as Site) and services (referred to as Services), you are
agreeing to the practices described in this policy.
Where does Accountstory get its information?
Accountstory collects information from a number of sources: (1) we get information from publicly
available sources on the web, (2) we get anonymous information contributed by our users
directly, (3) we get information from trustworthy 3rd party data providers, (4) and we get
information from primary research from our team.
What we collect from users
We collect two types of information from users to perform our services. A site visitor that is just
browsing is not required to provide any Personal Information. We may gather information from
cookies just to make sure we are improving our site and monitoring it’s effectiveness. To gain
full access to Accountstory, Users will have to register for an account on Accountstory.com or
via Accountstory for Chrome. When you register for an account, we collect Personal Information
such as: your name, email address, your company name, and an account password to open an
account. We also collect your IP address.
In order to use some Accountstory features and functionalities, users of Accountstory can
choose to make certain information and data available to Accountstory. When using
Accountstory.com or Accountstory for Chrome, you may choose to connect to our services
using platforms such as Google. If you do, we will receive information you authorize the
connected platform to share with us. In doing so you grant us permission to access, use, and
share certain information in an aggregated, anonymized and de-identified form. This information
may include contacts' names and email addresses. We do not collect, read or have access to
any email information. Use of the Accountstory Browser Extensions is subject to the
Accountstory Terms of Service, pursuant to which you confirm that you have the authority to
share the information described in this subjection and to permit us to use any Personal
Information we collect from you through the Accountstory Browser Extensions in accordance
with this Privacy Policy.
Cookies, Web Server Logs and Other Technologies
When you interact with Accountstory Services, we receive and store certain personally
non-identifiable information. This information is collected in a passive way using various
technologies and can not be used to identify you. Accountstory may store such information itself
or such information may be included in databases owned and maintained by Accountstory
affiliates, agents or service providers. The Services may use such information and pool it with
other information to track, for example, the total number of visitors to Accountstory, the number
of visitors to each page of our Site, and the domain names of our visitors’ Internet service
providers. There is no Personal Data available or used in this process. In operating
Accountstory Services, we may use a technology called “cookies.” A cookie is a piece of
information that the computer that hosts our Services gives to your browser when you access
the Services. Our cookies help provide additional functionality to the Services and help us
analyze Services usage more accurately. For instance, our Site may set a cookie on your
browser that allows you to access the Services without needing to remember and then enter a

Sharing of information
There are a few instances where we may disclose your Personal Information. We may disclose
it to enforcers of the law, government officials, or other third parties if we believe necessary or
appropriate to make sure we comply with laws, report suspect activity etc. Additionally, as we
develop our business, we might buy or sell business assets. In the event of a merger,
acquisition, reorganization, dissolution, or something similar, any information in our possession
may be part of the transferred assets.
Children
Accountsory does not knowingly collect Personal Information for children under the age of 13
years old. Our Site and Services is directed towards the general population.
Storage Time of Your Data
We take reasonable steps to make sure that the data we are collecting is up to date and useful
for our users. We do not store data for longer than it is deemed relevant. You have full
autonomy on the data we collect from you and can choose to opt out of collection and delete as
you want.
Changes to Accountstory Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy was last updated on the date indicated above. We reserve the right, in our
sole and absolute discretion, to make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. Please
review this Privacy Policy periodically to check for updates. Any changes will become effective
when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site. Your use of the Site or Services following
these changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
